What's New For 2008
This year, we finished up a Custom 450 project for Lynn Crouch. It's an updated version of Lynn's old Stearman that he has owned for over 30 years. It's a 4-aileron, standard-category Serv-Aero conversion with inverted fuel and oil. It has a full electric system with radios, preoiler, Red Line brakes and Air Wolf Filter.

Here's Lynn at the very beginning of the project.

And here's his plane at the end of the project.

Here's a few pictures of it as it goes through the building process.

Lynn flew it home to Nashville just before Christmas when the temperature was in the balmy 30-degree range for the entire trip. If anyone wants to know, he estimates that it was 4 days before he felt warm again.

Dick has started on the last of the 5 wing panels for the Custom 450.

The fuselage is ready for instruments and radios.

Other Vehicles Under Construction
The old Hudson Terraplane truck is slowly moving toward completion. It is scheduled to go into the upholstery shop soon.

Here's what it looked like back in '06 when we first bought it.
