This is Joe Vick being presented the Hap Arnold Best War Bird Trophy by Patty Wagstaff. Customers just don't come any better than Joe. I met him one day when he was using my strip to put out some fertilizer for a local farmer in his Ag-cat. Joe was in the spray business for over 30 years. In his retirement, he works for Flight Safety teaching ground school and simulators in the Citation Jet series.

Joe did a lot of work on his Stearman project: he built the wings and center section and had a lot of the sub-assemblies ready to for us to complete.
